Farmington Seminary

The Outcome
A thoughtfully designed learning environment that supports faith formation through enduring materials, clarity of purpose, and intentional construction.
“The construction of the Farmington High school seminary building started with a non-negotiable completion date. The project had to ready to be occupied when the high school opened for the school year. City Creek Construction managed the schedule from the very start of the construction to meet the required completion date. Even though there were some site delays, utility delays, product delivery date delays, and unexpected subcontractor delays, the completion of the work was adjusted to meet the final schedule.
The owner had included some very specific design criteria that required a special construction process. The contractor was able to dovetail these specific trades into the regular construction work.City Creek Construction worked very well with the design team, the government entities, and the adjacent school contractor to coordinate the progress and completion of the project. The contractor also managed the installation of the ‘owner provided’ furnishings and building management controls to their schedule.
